The Skorpma series is a by-product of the pieces Landvættirnar fjórar. It is a denser, more electric and more chaotic play of the elements. They interact and influence each other while remaing in autonomy. The boundaries are never fully blurred, yet they become to resemble one another. Light goes on in the end of the tunnel despite revulsionary repulsion. Leave your shit alone and come behind.

Ever since Laberico Narabida (2019) all my pieces are dealing with the elements. Sinfónía, Stífluhringurinn, Landvættirnar, Skorpma etc. all reflect this in some way. It is a play, a theater with four curtains, slowly revealing, interacting. Sometimes there is very little interacting, sometimes there is a lot. Sometimes it is obivious, sometimes it is not. Sometimes the elements sound all at the same time, sometimes one after the other. Each element may be contained in all the other elements, however, it remains distinct.
